Avital,
I had a younger sister,
that knew so much and gave so much.
Avital never saw the bad in the
world,
even when it afflicted her, she
drew out the positive.
From Avital I learned what time
is,
that it doesn’t matter how
long you live.
I learned from her that one can
live better in 16 years than in 80 years.
From Avital I learned what success
is, to succeed without getting good grades each semester, to succeed for
yourself and not for making your family proud, to succeed in things that
to everyone don’t seem important because we aren’t capable of succeeding
in small things. It’s easy to get good grades, to be accepted, to have
many achievements. But how many of us can be outstanding in helping, in
loving, in smiling, in compromising and in forgiving?
In conclusion, I thank Avital that
I was privileged to learn from her so much and I’ll continue to learn
and to teach...
Yonni, your brother. |
